Overview

Course Introduction

The Future Leaders Program at PoPoDoo is designed for students aged 11–15, guiding them from confident communicators to independent learners and global citizens. The program focuses on academic English, critical thinking, and communication skills, preparing students for secondary school success, Cambridge exams, and IELTS foundation.
  • Leap Teens (11–12 years old): Transition from A2 Flyers to A2+ (A2 Key fS) – developing grammar accuracy, longer writing, and extended speaking.
  • Young leaders (12–13 years old): Build advanced reading, writing, and discussion skills, aiming for B1/ B1+ (B1 Preliminary fS).
  • Elite leaders (13–15 years old): Focus on academic English, project, and presentation, preparing students for Cambridge B2 First fS (B2) and IELTS Foundation (4.5–5.0).
Through project-based learning, presentations, and real-world topics, students not only achieve high-level English proficiency but also develop the confidence and skills to lead in their future studies and careers.

Language Development

Confident communication in various situations; reading comprehension of articles and short stories; writing basic paragraphs and essays; vocabulary of 2000-2500 words.

The Future Leaders Program uses a carefully selected set of international secondary-level course books, aligned with CEFR standards (A2–B2) and Cambridge exams (A2 Key fS, B1 Preliminary fS, B2 First fS ). Materials are fully adapted to meet the needs of Vietnamese learners, ensuring that every unit builds both academic English and real-world skills.

Each level includes:

– Exam Practice Pack: Past papers, mock tests, and strategy tips for Cambridge and IELTS Foundation.

At the secondary level, PoPoDoo students go far beyond basic communication. They gain access to age-appropriate academic English, sharpen their critical thinking skills, and build a strong foundation for international exams such as Cambridge A2 Key fS, B1 Preliminary fS, and B2 First fS .

At PoPoDoo, we understand parents’ concerns about pressure. That’s why every lesson is designed with balance and care: exam preparation is broken into small, manageable steps, and combined with projects, discussions, and real-life topics that keep learning enjoyable and stress-free.

With consistent study habits and successful achievement of learning goals, students who have reached B1 level can confidently progress to B2 within approximately 18 months. At the end of this learning pathway, students will take the Cambridge B2 First (FCE) exam - a globally recognized international English certificate that enables them to use English with confidence in academic studies and higher-level learning environments.

Yes. Beyond preparing for international English certificates, PoPoDoo students also practice presentations, debates, and projects after every lesson. This ensures they grow not only in English proficiency but also in confidence and essential soft skills – the toolkit they need for future success.

At PoPoDoo, every child is placed where they can succeed. Before joining or moving up a class, students take an entry assessment to match their level, age, and ability. Our teachers also provide personalized support so each learner can strengthen their foundation and grow with confidence.
